Why this role matters
This isn’t just another AE job.
You’ll be our first sales hire in the US, and you’ll play a pivotal role in building our American presence from scratch. From GTM strategy to client acquisition and market feedback, you’ll shape our success in the most promising new region.
Your Responsibilities
1. Drive New Business
Prospect and qualify top-tier accounts aligned with our Ideal Customer Profiles (HR, Talent, L&D).
Own the full sales cycle: cold outreach → demo → proposal → closing.
Close both inbound leads and outbound opportunities.
Work with the EU-based Account Management team to scale existing clients in the US.
2. Localize Our Brand
Adapt our messaging and campaigns with the Global Marketing Director to fit US expectations.
Represent AssessFirst at key industry events (starting with HRTech Las Vegas – Sep 2025).
Provide field insights to shape campaigns, product messaging, and GTM materials.
3. Open the Right Doors
Partner with the Head of Partnerships to identify local resellers, advisors, and tech integrations.
Co-build co-hosted events and referral strategies.
4. Help Us Scale
Lay the groundwork for future hiring (SDRs, CSMs, AEs).
Act as the voice of the US market internally and ensure full alignment with HQ.
What We’re Looking For
✅Proven B2B SaaS sales experience — ideally in HRTech or Talent/L&D.
🇺🇸 Deep understanding of US business culture, sales cycles, and decision-making dynamics.
☄️ Entrepreneurial mindset: autonomous, resourceful, and data-savvy.
💪Strong communication skills with both prospects and internal teams.
🏠 Based in the US (remote) — must operate within EST or CST timezones.
Your future team:
As part of this new role and the expansion of our presence into a new market, you’ll be the very first person to help us establish ourselves in the United States! This means there’s tremendous potential to build a truly “Made in US” entity from the ground up.
Of course, you won’t be alone, you’ll be supported by our Sales and Support teams based in France and the UK. You’ll also be directly managed by Quentin, our Head of Sales. You can check out his background here !
